This whimsical quilt is friendly with fat quarters and/or 6" squares. There are foundation piecing diagrams for the square-in-a-square block and quarter square triangles, and traditional cutting methods for fat quarters. Use what you have, or sample new fabric collections! A perfect size for baby gifts or Linus donations.
Setting triangles and binding are each one fat 1/4! Borders require more fabric. Get fabric for the back as well... since you may actually finish it just to see the borders come alive. Straight line quilting or simple meandering works great. Bias binding can be finished by hand or machine. Go curvy with borders for the playful look. 5 different border options are included. Straight and
pieced are fast and easy!
Curvy borders included in paper template form, and can be glued to cardstock, or an empty cereal box for support. They are laid onto the quilted and bordered quilt sandwich. Templates are used to trace curves only.
