This border pattern fits 15½ F-- 16" F - 18"F blocks, which my friend Mary Lou Carlson designs. The pattern includes templates for 18" repeats, so it can be used with quilts that have unfinished sides divisible by 18" (less 1/2" seam allowance).
The center in the above sample was made from exquisite fabric, that has been simply quilted. Other centers could be pillow panels, quilting, decorator prints, or onesy blocks with strips added to fit.
